Neat! just fell over the fact that you can no longer topup another prepaid account from a pay monthly account via the IVR.
Spent 30 mins on hold and 15 mins trying to explain to a stressed out CS lady (doing her best) that its was possible todo before the upgrade.

She had never heard of it before, but could not deny it was possible when provided with proof.

It was suggested I put the sim card in a phone and ring directly, not interested in pulling apart an alarm and other such devices (about 15 of them) to top up every now and again, just not practical. It was also suggested I use the one of topup on the 2D website. Thats a bit better, but still more long winded than the available facilities two weekends ago.

The CS lady suggested the ability to topup via the IVR would not be coming back, So I did ask that is be reconsidered.

Rather surprised that 2D would reduce options to get payments from its customers. Despite being an avid supported of 2D and being willing to accept the outages of various services while the upgrade is on, the loss of a particular function as above is a motivating factor to ask what the other carriers can do for me.

Cheers

Lee

Paid my Pay Monthly bill on the 4th, didn't get a confirmation text so checked my credit card bill today and the charge has come through but the 2degrees portal reckons I still owe it money. Has anyone else had this issue?

Does this affect their fixed dsl billing at all? I seem to have been invoiced again by them despite changing to voyager as soon as they announced the card surcharge.

Interesting to note that now both Android and IOS apps are working is that the Android App shows the credit balance expiry date but the IOS app doesn't,

It shouldn't since it's a separate system ex-Snap isn't it?

Fixed schmixed...

Just logged in to my account and added another talk pack - which then came back with an 'attempting to update' message. 40 minutes later it still has not applied to the account or adjusted the balance.

...finally received a text @14:18, the update process to simply add a talk pack to an existing account took well over an hour.  I suspect they must still have capacity issues to address.

if they have taken on that many temp staff there must be thousands of people who are not happy.

Over my weetbix, I decided to check the 2D IVR again. The ability to topup another prepay number has appeared again... Yay.

Yep found the same thing from within the account.   Normally once a month I add $20 to my grand daughters phone and it takes about 20 seconds.  Looks like I can now only do it externally and will take a lot of extra effort to do it like  paying by CC and having to always enter my number as a conformation number if that function still works.  Due to do it again tomorrow so will be interesting.

Has anyone found out where Spend Control and Data Sharing have gone? I have set up the new My 2Degrees, but it seems to have very limited functionality.

Anyone found these functions?
