Any idea specifically what the CPU/chipset is?

Further specifications here: http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_mediapad-4264.php

Seems like a pretty decent price as well

I was going to get this but the release date kept getting pushed back, so I got the Asus instead. Looks like a nice little unit, but the 7" screen seems a little small too.

GSM Arena lists a 256k colour screen!?!
Surely this is a mistake?

Otherwise it looks like a worthy device, for the price.

What, there is something wrong on the internet?
;-)

P1n3apqlExpr3ss: Any idea specifically what the CPU/chipset is?

A commentator on GSM Arena has said Qualcomm, but as above, take that with a grain of salt.

Thought it may have been, any chance of loading up Quadrant and checking it out? From memory that will tell you what CPU/GPU it has

Seems from google at least it seems to have the same chipset at the Sensation and Touchpad

So that probably means it's a Qualcomm MSM8660?

Interesting that Quadrant reports only 1 core though.

I would think that it would be the MSM8260, the only difference is is that the 8660 supports EV-DO

It'll be something on quadrants end of things, AFAIK there is no single core chipset with the Adreno 220

Can you use hdmi out and external hdd at same time? Ie play a movie from hdd and output to TV at same time?

What is the resolution of hdmi out?

Yes, it's a "Google" device, with Market and everything, not a Chinese rip off.
