Was just trying to contact Orcon on their main 0800 13 14 15 number, got a nice message telling me that the staff have evacuated the building.

Hope everyone there is safe and well.

Cheers

Lee

Just checked their twitter page, says there is something wrong with their phone system.
So might not be as dramatic as the message suggests.

Hey guys,

We were experiencing some issues with our phone system this morning and this should be fixed as I'm typing this right now.

My sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Cheers,

Cam

You're experiencing issues with your phone system? Did you know  your Orcon business customers are always experiencing them?

Since day 1 when a 2nd caller calls the no. the beeps on the line and this masks some of the words of the present caller. Currently we have no voicemail message notification. The dodgy digital line fails regularly and the quality is marginal. To talk with the call centre about these things usually involves a 20 minute wait and they're never resolved.

Sad but true

Sorry is this related to the topic of calling Orcon?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Yes, post was related to calling Orcon and how it never resolves any issues with their business lines.
How ironic that Orcon had problems with its phone lines causing an evacuation when my business has regular issues with Orcon's services but we have to carry on working.
Shouldn't respond to forum shooting from the lip however and probably not posted to correct thread.

How about you tell the truth and that your entire phone network has been in flames for over a week affecting your client's including Kordia?

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...
