thanks mate will try this driver

not working

the driver i got with the box works and installs but then 10sec latter the box disconnects from the computer :(

aaahhh the little rubbish qq-box tv tuner.. i have one also... works ok for downloading the guide but its got a terrible tuner, gets poor receiption when my real tuner works a treat.  The driver you were pointed to is the right one, if your disconnects shortly after perhaps try remove its metal cover, some models of them had a shorting problem, if you google it you'll find a massive forum on the tuners and their problems.

do you know of any cheap usb dvb-s i can get that is good ?
