Channel-surfing this afternoon, normally my channels go up to 35, Channel North, but now I am showing 800, Panasonic Blu_Ray SSU and 801, Oriental Pacific SSU.
Nothing being broadcast on either of them.
Anyone know what they are?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Where are you located? Mainland TV use ch 800 to 809 in the Nelson area.
