Hi,  Just of this morning Sunday 23rd here in Masterton in the Wairarapa we have "No or Weak signal" on TV1,Tv2, Tv1 delayed and U channels. All other freeview channels are fine. This is across 3 Samsung Tvs with built in freeview, the problem is identicle.
Anyone else in the Wairarapa having the same problem?

Are these three TVs all connected to the same aerial?

Edit: The post above snuck in while I was typing ... looks like a moot point now.

I have been having the same issues too. Yesterday morning it would mostly be off and sometimes come back on for a while. Was fixed for the evening. The tv isn't on right now so I can't check.

We have a TiVo so the TVNZ epg is always there taunting me.

Oh, yesterday I sent an email to JDA. No response as of yet.

UPDATE: It seems that Mediaworks Channels are not working too. The only channels that are working are the kordia/jda ones.

Update from FreeviewNZ's Facebook Page:

Hi Wairarapa/Masterton viewers (those receiving signal from Popoiti via UHF aerials) - we've been notified of a fault affecting the transmission of TVNZ & mediaworks channels. The transmission provider is aware of this issue and has technicians on-site investigating & working towards a resolution ASAP.

Another Update:

Hi again, the transmission provider has just updated us that the technician has restored service to the Popoiti site; however the tower is running on reduced power until reinforcements can arrive after the holiday season. TVNZ & Mediaworks channels may be affected by pixelation if you're in a fringe coverage area, or if your UHF aerial has moved out of alignment with the Popoiti transmission tower (see bit.ly/V3NbQh for coverage map). We thank you, on behalf of the transmission provider, for your patience & understanding.

So reduced power huh. Must be a major issue to cause that. They would be running from a backup transmitter. I tip my hat to the technician(s) that left their families on Christmas Eve to get our telles working again.

Thank You  The Naggyman for keeping us updated. I have no need for facebook or twitter in my life ;)
All good here, all channels showing and no pixilation. Merry Christmas and a TY to the techs who fixed the problem.
