That's what we've been waiting for - new software loaded and will check it out tonight.

Thanks DishTV.

If you opt for DishTV sending you an email on updates, this is what you would get:-

A new firmware update for the satboxUltra S7090PVR has been Released.

The current release version is now v1.5b.
Modifications Done
Transfer recordings between internal drive and external USB drive.

Updates for Hard Drive Handling to correct drive corruption issues.
Status Icons added to Library List.

Recording property dialog for extended recording status details.

Display notification when returning to a manually time-shifted channel indicating duration behind live program.

Problems Solved

MHEG EPG not loading when Teletext subtitles are enabled.
Adjusted Time handling to allow for time differences between transponders.

If you are not experiencing any problems with your receiver and you are not confident in updating the firmware yourself you do not need to install this update. In the future we will be doing an Over the Air Download (OAD) to all DishTV receivers via the Freeview broadcast. At that time your receiver will automatically update with the latest firmware.

The New firmware can be downloaded from the satboxUltra S7090PVR product page here

My parents are experiencing random crashing on their box - does this fix that?

They've also had the HDD corrupt itself.
