In fine middle-finger form DC's Legends of Tomorrow will premiere in NZ on TVNZOndemand.
For those lucky enough to have FreeviewPlus or a PS4 - you get it in HD.  For the rest of the streamers - pure SD.

And for those that want to see it on broadcast TV...... nada.  Instead one of the highly recommended shows of 2016 (along with American Crime) being same-day and primetime it will languish in some mid-year or graveyard spot long after the hype and spoilers have past.

You can lump blindspot, Shameless and The 100 to that list too

But don't worry.. primetime still has 2 cooking, 2 building and some boarder or reality tv repeats on for us!

Woo hoo.  Legends of Tomorrow got an average of ~10,000 streams per episode.  (still more than Criminal Minds or Agent Carter "express from the US")

I dont think TVNZ could get less viewers watching if they had put it in the graveyard slot rather than buried it online.

I am finding myself moderately struggling. I like the pretense but some of the scripting is freaking awful. Some of their writers should be sacked.

I am also finding spoilers for other shows I am not caught up with, watching shows like SuperGirl, The Flash and Agent Carters where crossovers seem to be unavoidable to some degree. I feel Arrow might need to be binged watched shortly.

Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow all exist in the same universe and shared overall story arc, so there is a lot of interlinking of plot points etc between them (though they can still be watched independently). Supergirl to a lesser degree, maybe some easter eggs but there hasn't been a crossover yet - it's not far away though.

Agent Carter is Marvel?

Yep, I can only presume he is referencing it's links to Agents of SHIELD, rather than to the DC titles.

Oops, yeah, fair enough!

It's one of the reasons I'm a bit miffed that they bumped The Flash and aren't playing Legends of Tomorrow (yet). There's bound to be crossover before the end of the season and they'll be out of sync, unless TV2 intends to somehow bring them together.

I started the DC legends a while back, maybe a month or two ago, when did it first come out?

Gave up real quick, it's just too watered down to even be bothered with.

Can't help but see my life disappearing when I watch it.

Arrow is borderline like that, I find it hard to care about any of the characters, especially when half have died and been resurrected recently.

Flash is kinda plonky, but at least tries to admit it's corny.

Other shows like NCIS have a set effects budget each week, so you know once you've seen an explosion that that's it for the episode etc.

I don't really have anything I'm enjoying at the moment. Blindspot has my attention though, as it's got the guy/1 half of Strike Back in it.

I saw the Player? with Lesley snipes? and that had the other half of strike back in it, but it sucked in the same way as those mentioned above.  Too ploddy and a mind numbing waste of time.  Just googled and it's been cancelled.

Watched the pilot for Blindspot last night.

Actually started watching the latest Greys Anatomy episode for about 15 minutes before I couldn't handle it any longer.

Switched over to Blindspot and liked what I saw.  Will give it a good go now.

I can't see past Sullivan Stapleton as Sgt. Damien Scott from Strike Back, but I like that, it's a good thing.

I believe Legends Of Tomorrow is going to screen on Duke, for those who wanted it on broadcast TV. I don't recall what definition that channel is going to be.
