I have bought a new computer recently and i wanted to wacth tv on it. I live in a three story townhouse and the computer is located on the top floor. I wanted to know what the best card for under 150ish to wacth free view and normal tv is
                    2. What type of aerial/sattelite i need.  (Do u need one with a usb tuner?)
                    3. Is external better than internal
I use a bunny ear anntennae now and i get fairly poor reception. Sometimes i get excellent reception. The townhouse complex also has a wall outlet for tv antenna and this also has fairly poor reception.

Hauppauge HVR 900 from ascent.co.nz. supports analog and DVB-T terrestrial. See Freeview maps http://freeviewnz.tv/index.php?section_id=3 for DVB-T H.264 coverage with official launch April 2nd.

EDIT: Whether rabbits ears are OK for DVB-T can only be determined once you test. I'm 16 km from Sugarloaf and found indoor antenna inadequate for DVB-T reception yet analog reception was quite watchable.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.
