Hi all

Reading the specs it looks like this USB tuner may work with NZ freeview, but considering I'm in Spain at the moment I can't test it. It lists MPEG-4 and H.264. Has anyone tried it? Are all channels available?

I was hoping to be able to use a couple of these for my HTPC under Vista Media Centre.

Cheers
Jon

It will not currently work. Vista Media Center does not presently support H.264 DVB-T transmissions regardless of the TV card you use. It should do in the future when the long overdue Vista Media Center update becomes available.

Virtually any DVB-T card will deliver you H.264 DVB-T support as it's the PC that does all the work, not the TV card. It just feeds the PC a DVB video stream and it's up to the PC to do the decoding of the MPEG2 or MPEG4 video stream. There are other TV applications such as GB-PVR, Media Portal, and DVBViewer that all work well.
