Check your Aerial Polarisation. Mine was not correct for a LONG time. I ditched my TIVO & got Freeview now & then TV3 went bad. landlord checked the arial & determined the horizontal/vertical arial was the wrong way. he fixed it & now my signal strength has gone up to maximum.

Thread is about DVB-S reception, i.e., satellite.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

If it's DVB-S, look for a satellite dish.

Good chance the issue is Skew related for your LNB. Either that or LNB failure as they will die over time.

Where in NZ are you?

I'm using the DishTV S7070r in Wellington, and it is/has been fine.

How old is dish and components?  Might just need a new LNB ... or as other suggest, get up there and check for connection, rain damage etc.  Maybe clean up wire ends and refit F-connector?

In chc (sumner)

Dish was there when we bought the house ~14 years ago, has been knocked around a bit with a new roof etc, quite exposed to the norwesters, I think something broke last time and someone riveted it into place.

I dont have easy access to it as its effectively 3 stories up
