Hi

A friend inherited a Vodafone HT500a box when he bought an old Panasonic Plasma TV (with no built in Freeview)

Can this box be used just to watch Freeview using a UHF antenna as there are 2 sockets marker ANT IN and RF OUT.

Should I suggest he give up on this T Box and get the likes of a  DISH TV set top box as he doesnt want too spend much.

I have looked in the forum but its mostly about comments from people who are using the device

thanks
