I have installed mediaportal with a nova s plus card all drivers installed. When I go in config there is no capture card tab there?
Therefore I cant configure or scan for channels does any one have this problem or am I doing something wrong?

Do you have MediaPortal Server on the same machine?
If so, you need to do the TV card configuration in MediaPortal Server Configuration, rather than in MediaPortal. If MediaPortal is installed on a machine with MediaPortal Server installed, the Capture Cards tab is disabled because MediaPortal Server is responsible for talking to the capture card(s).

MediaPortal Server is an optional component, but it allows you to stream the TV to other computers on the network. If you don't need this functionality, you can uninstall MediaPortal Server and just use MediaPortal by itself.
