Hi all.

I have successfully set up freeview HD using this application (that came with the HVR4000) however I have the same problem everyone has had when they set this application up: No audio on recordings with the HE-AAC audio codec.

Note that if I switch to the AC3 audio feed (available on TV1 and 3) I don't have a problem, but it would be nice if I could record AAC as well.

Does anyone have the patch available -it does not seem to be around anymore..

Here's the link to a NZ website that explains how to set up Powercinema correctly

http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=iqindolit8ka1hlq44ag1g5580&topic=413.15

and here's the link to the haupauge site that has the file I need to download -but the link is broken.

FYI I sent an email to their support team but have not yet heard back.

Cheers
b

Try: http://www.bdt.co.nz/computer/downloads/PowerCinema_PCMAACPatch.zip

(I haven't tried it myself, my PowerCinema version has AAC)

Thankyou!  I'll give it a try when I get home tonight.

Tim, just to let you know the patch worked perfectly.

really odd/annoying that Hauppauge seem to have broken or removed their own link to this file.

Cheers
