I'm having a problem picking up channels, when I auto scan it picks up nothing at all. I just got a ZMT-620HD and bought an antenna off trademe, this one to be exact http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=170417380

I checked the freeview website before buying and my location is "very likely" so I'm not really sure what's wrong, any ideas?

Steve, where roughly is your location, you may be pointing it in the wrong direction, wrong polarity, or not got the power on the STB turned on.

I"m on Stellamaris Way, I have tried pointing it in every direction possible really and still no channels which is weird as I pick up normal tv reception through this aerial fine although it's not the best quality. The box power is definitley on as I can navigate through the menu and such.

Luck for you smaps can tell me which city stellarmaris way is in. There is only one transmitter you should be aiming at, thats waitarua (big stick on the waitakari ranges) assuming you can easily see this transmitter (on a clear day) then you should have no issues. Ensure your antenna is horizontally polarised, and all cables, baluns and connections are correctly and properly terminated and in good condition.
