Still in the process of getting my media portal pc stable and all was working well, nice and smooth with average frames of 50 in vista on most channels.

I recently started getting skipping issues on channel one and two the frame rate is about 50 then drops down to 10 and then back up again so its really stuttery.

I live in Johnsonville with line of sight to mount kaukau so signal is not an issue. Last night i was ready to rebuild things and then it started working fine. Now it is stuttering again on channel one and two (seems to be like this in the afternoon). The other channels are working fine.

My current setup is:
HVR-2200
GT8500
1gig Ram
E6600 Processor
Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3R/DS3 Motherboard (has s3 sleep issues in vista)
Vista Ultimate
Media portal (recent svr build)

I tried putting in my old hard drive that i had setup before i cloned to better hdd and still have the issue, so can rule out video drivers etc as it all was working fine when i was using that hdd. I did do a bios update to try and fix the s3 sleep motherboard issue but thats the only motherboard change.

Its really bugging me so hopefully someone else has noticed this issue or maybe i need to start fresh and rebuild my media center pc.

Cheers,
Xmamx

Just watching channel one and two now and they are running very smooth so it seems to be after half seven it seems to start working fine. Its like the signal changes. Anyone else having these strange issues.

Cheers,
