Evenin folks,

I have been watching Freeview reasonably well via my laptop using DVB Viewer and an HVR-900 USB DVB-T tuner and the small DVB-T aerial.

I've just been hanging the little aerial outside the window!

Now for the life of me, i cant get any signal/channels via the UHF aerial.

I get Prime/Trackside/Maori TV very clear. I'm in Hamilton and the UHF aerial is pointed towards the Te Aroha transmitter.

I have one of those old long loop aerials for VHF and when the UHF was installed for Sky TV years ago, i think the installer combined the VHF and UHF connections somewhere outside as it's jus the one cable coming inside.

Do you think the VHF signal is interfering with the UHF signal and therefore causing no signal for DVB-T?

Any help appreciated
