I have been using Windows 7 beta and am impressed enough to set it up better.

I am going to plug a dish into my Hauppauge HVR3000 tomorrow and try to get guide data and map it to the DVB-T channels.

Would anyone who has done this please give me (and I am sure others would be interested) a quick guide?

Hi,

You can use the Sky EPG by following my instructions here -> http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=83&TopicId=26434

I wouldn't use the Freeview DVB-S guide as that is unreliable and causes series recordings to fail.

Alternatively, wait a few days for the EPGStream (www.epgstream.net) guide download solution to be released.

PM me if you need further help with the Sky EPG solution.

I believe not as apparently the TV Pack guide is encrypted.

What's the reason behind this Satch?  I'm just wondering as would this impact on the Hyundai PVR which uses the DVB-S EPG or EIT data to create it's EPG.  Cheers.

Sorry, don't know the reasons why.  Suspect that the data might change slightly each time it refreshes?  It is just not reliable and you can read other posts about this here on GZ.

In terms of PVRs, I have no clue sorry.
