So some time yesterday i was watching TV1 and it just stalled out. I figured it was just my HTPC having a bit of a moan so restarted and left it to watch a movie. Then again last night i find TV2 isn't working at all. Figured it was the HTPC again.

Then, this morning i turn on the TV to watch Good Morning and it still won't work. None of the TVNZ mux channels will tune in on either of my TV capable machines. Both are running different TV tuners, Operating systems and both are running different TV software.

Is anyone else having similar problems or has had them before? I'm at a loss to decide where to start looking to fix it.

For what it's worth i can tune into all other channels, including TV3, which i have traditionally had problems with, with no problems at all.

Is there any reason for this? Upgrades? Problems? I wonder if it is/was happening to people using 'verfied' freeview STB's?

TV2 dead in christchurch tonight (Thursday) on DTT. Zinwell decoder.

TVNZ is starting to make freeview look sick. Don't get this nonsense on analog and the government wants to switch it off!

Got the following off freeview early today
----
There was a fault with the terrestrial TV2 broadcast last night in the Wellington region. To fix this fault the Waikato signal was switched over to this region and was switched back at about 10 am this morning. It appears this may have upset some iDTV?s.

So far I am aware of Sony and Panasonic units that after this did not receive any TVNZ channels yet showed full signal strength.

Re-tuning will fix this and our call centre is advising callers with this issue to do this and call their manufacturers helpline if they need help with this.
