When watching Freeview....it seems that I have delayed sound.

Any ideas on how to rectify this?

I have moved your post to the Freeview forums where it's more likely to get an answer. Also changed the subject to something more meaningful.

Now, to help people help you, a bit more information would be good - the crystal ball seems to be broken.

Where (city) are you using Freeview? How far from a transmission tower (if you know)? Any antennas? Is this Freeview|HD or Satellite? What receiver are you using?

More information folks when posting for help!
