Hey guys
I have recently just built my new htpc and its working great, but i need to setup the tv tuner in order to watch freeview HD. I am having problems setting it up on windows Media center, i am either having no channels or very low quality signal, and yes i have a UHF antenna

My tv tuner is a  Hauppauge HVR 2200 PCIe card with dual tuner

Can any one please direct me on how to set this up? step by step guides will be helpful

PLEASE

THANK YOU

Fir a start I assume you have Windows7?

Freeview|HD is not supported under WMC in Vista.

Before you even get into setting up Media center I would check the signal strengh you have and confirm you have no cable, aerial, or reception problems.

Once that is done you should have no problems scanning the channels. If you still have problems then you can start by the simplist software fix of reinstalling Windows 7. After that you are into into faulty hardware and how to test for that.

Otherwise, if all things are working as they should Windows 7 will scan and display the channels with no issues. Job done. then move onto EPG setup.

cheers
