I wonder if Sky fancy pre-emptying things a little, perhaps using one of their existing UHF frequencies to carry Juice TV and sub-letting space to Trackside?

Speculation of Sky launching their own DVB-T platform has been out there for years, ever since Sky openly said they were in discussions with hardware suppliers.

I haven't heard anything recently but it's certainly something you could never rule out. The big deciding factor will be what actually happens to the existing licences.

My expectation is Sky will delay launching DVB-T until it is viable for them to do 1080p and 3D so they can one-up Freeview.
