Hi All,

Just got a new Samsung Series 6 LCD with built-in Freeview HD. Bunny ears are doing an alright job (93% signal but quality does vary).

Would it be easy enough to install an antenna myself (I am in Johnsonville and have line of site to Kaukau) or would a pro install be best? I would only want the antenna positioned, mounted and cable put through my roof.

I would connect the splitter and run RG6 to a couple of locations. If pro install, any recommendations of installers in Wellington?

Cheers,

Personally, I would just do it myself. It's very straight forward.

If you have good line of sight, you should be fine with the rabbit ears. I know of several people who manage with them with freeview. Never had any quality issues.
