Hi folks!
I'm well-pleased with this device. Does it's job well. What I'm wondering now though is whether anyone has had any joy programming an alternate remote control - even just to effect channel up/down & volume?

Cheers!

it uses the same commands as the 980 unit if that helps?

I use the harmony remote brand and it works fine.

If all else fails, could you "train" your universal remote by having it read the codes transmitted by the remote you wish it to emulate, key by key? Some can do this.

Thanks for the replies guys.
The remote I'm trying to train isn't a true programmable remote. It's the remote from my LG tv. It      has the ability to control a DVD & an STB. The DVD option has previously worked on my Philips DVD player, and the STB made a decent fist of controlling a SKY box (now dispensed with). So my hope was that someone else had done the hard yards and figured out the code for this Ultraplus device.
Ah well .....

I'll update this thread if I ever crack it!

Al.
