Well that's a very vague statement you've made. Do you mean the quality of the signal, the quality of the programming or something else?

Only thing I miss from DVB-S is SBS (must get my DVB-S satellite box back) but that was for the range of programs.

Picture and sound quality on the other hand DVB-T would be the clear winner. (Excuse the bad pun).

one of the SBS channels on sat is in HD, the other SBS chans and the freeview channels are all SD and nowhere near as good as the main terrestrial freeview channels - 1/2/3

No way is satellite better than Digital Terrestrial.
You must be comparing to Analogue Terrestrial (Apples and Oranges?).
