Hi all  -I have installed an Ultraplus 700 sat box for a friend who is keen on watching trackside . He called tonight to say the sound is not in sync with the picture and occasionally a crackling sound is heard that can be cured by changing channels and back again.  This only happens on trackside. Anyone know what may be causing this?

cheers
Ross

Are you using the latest firmware? Visit the http://www.ultrapower.co.nz/download_ultraplus.html site and check.

If that does not fix your problem, post a question in the following forum as there are many knowledgable people there:

Yeah I'd also try deleting the channel and setting it back up again.

I have that problem on BBC World on Intelsat 5, but with a 680, looses voice sync after a while and sometimes the video glitches, but mines the unit, as Australia Network is fine. I don't think UltraPlus units are all they are hyped up to be.
