Hi.

I have up until now used a Win7 64bit media centre HTPC with 4 tuners (3 x DVBT & 1 X DVBS). I have never been able to get perfect glitch free video playback of the freeviewHD channels, so am considering a standalone solution.

I want to be able to record at least two freeview HD channels from any mux and a satellite channel (SBS etc) at the same time.

The Ultraplus 9200 can mix and match tuner types but only supports two tuners. The MagicTV 3700 only has 2 x DVBT tuners.

Is there any solution that can have 3 tuners or can properly integrate an external USB tuner with the inbuilt tuners? I think I read somewhere that either the Magic TV or the Ultraplus could use an external tuner but couldn't record from it or integrate it into the main EPG?

Any ideas?

Regards Allen.

Allen, you may want to direct your questions to Leroy at:
http://www.austech.info/decoders/

Leroy knows more about the X-9200 than most, and works with the manufacture on firmware upgrades.
