And I've found a Torrent site that has alot of Oz TV posted (including stuff from SBS). You must follow the rules of the site and maintain a 1:1 sharing ratio.... but hey, I beleive in sharing so it's no problem.

hu: This is working very well for me
Astrill VNP https://www.astrill.com/download.php  for watching
and sbsNapper http://users.on.net/~m.elliott/s/index.html# for watching and for downloading to watch later.

I'm guessing that sbsNapper only works when you are VPN'ed since the Region Detection would also prevent sbsNapper from downloading.

I have been trying to try out sbsNapper as a test first before shelling out $ for astrill but it just gives a download failed message in the dos box when I try to download Rockwiz which does have the download buttons available (not greyed out), so I guess my question is does it work for anyone without being VPN'ed or does the GeoDetection kick in with sbsNapper on all shows??

I'm no expert on this stuff ... all new to me, however just did a quick test and downloaded a few minutes of Rockwiz without Astrill. There is quite a bit of content on SBS that we can watch without being VPN'd so this should download in sbsNapper. Experience so far has been if  buttons are greyed out it needs Astrill.
I was reluctant to pay for Astrill but was missing SBS too much. Now i've just had to negotiate with isp for more data at no extra cost. helps when you mention 'moving'!

http://www.streamtransport.com/ is another helpful one. just input address etc. good for all sorts BBC iplayer etc.

Thanks for the reply at least I now know it "should work" but I just can't it to work for me. It's not as if the setup is that complicated but even adding a file called "sbsNapper.debug" to my sbsNapper directory doesn't get any new files at all created when I run it & from my understanding it should create a heap just running the gui & the gui works fine??? Currently I feel a tad lost as to where to go from here but I guess it is to post a "help" message on the Whirlpool forum.

Yes good idea. As i said I'm new to this so just put everything suggested into the folder (even the optionals) and had a go at opening them all. have you got an FLV player apart from VLC? applian fLV is good.today i've had a few .flv files that vlc won't play video on (will play audio) but applian handles them no trouble.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.
