I just switched over this afternoon and the Hairy  Bikers were on and about 15 seconds later it went black. Me switching on must have been the straw that broke the camels back.. Reminded me of the old days when the film would break while the program was running except this time it went black not white..

Regards,

Old3eyes

mattwnz: Hope they fix it in time for Penn and teller. It is good to see they have some advertisers now. It is hard enough for them, without this sort of problem taking them off air in a peak time.

Nope, not tonight. Watch it at another time.

Good thing is, Choice TV will be moving some shows to next week, in result of the issues

Its actually a lot better now. I don't have to adjust so often.

They are aware, and working on it. Say there is 3 points where it is failing.

My guess, source, mixer, encoder

Some TV's have Auto volume  I dont see a problem with my Samsung Series 4, I have not fully tested the other TV's, or my DishTV  T1050

The right of the bottom scanline and the left of the top scanline are missing.

That's normal. That's where the image starts and ends drawing.

Another problem I was getting and a bit of a problem was WSS  Lines on the top left of the screen, Widescreen signaling.

I found on my Panasonic LCD TV there is a over scan option, it does stretch the screen a few MM but does get most of the WSS lines, but thet still show up now and again on TV1 and Prime from memory

I thought that WSS in only used for Analog TV's

These show up a large white broken lines.

Can't say I've seen WSS lines on TV1 for some time, but I'll take your word for it as I don't keep my eyes glued on it 24/7 ;)
