joshhill96: Choice TV site now active and unparked from [freeparking]

http://choicetv.co.nz/

I'm getting excited. Can't wait to see a programme schedule.

Their website page says "Tune your Freeview TV or set top box today!"- unfortunately the signal's not up to tune yet.

bjorn: Are we going to be able to get it in the JDA areas?

Can't find where I saw this, but in another thread someone pointed to an article confirming that it would be on the JDA sites. Great news for those areas then.

old3eyes: Just did a scan on my "non Freeview" STB but no Choice TV here in Auckland.. Plenty of other stuff though on the "Non Freeview" part of the system..

Are you getting other non-freeview channels? Feeds or test signals, could be for Igloo

Shine TV on CH 25 and about 6 Korean channels..  Well I was .  I turned off the HT rack today for about 4 hours to set off some flee bombs.  When I turned everything on  the HD801S power LED just fast flashes.  It's two years old so I guess  it's seen better days.

Anyone got a suggestion for a new one. Not Dish as they seem to be junk.  Don't mind FV approved as long as it does HD over component.

Regards,

Old3eyes

Guess it has,

Interesting Shine being on HD on Channel 25 which means that it will be officially launched on the platform soon, Still don't understand how Rhema Broadcasting Group are getting the funds to run Shine TV on both Sat and UHF

Second that, what transmitter are you using old3eyes?

Did a complete scan of Waiatarua no Shine on anything (unless it didn't scan an odd-ball UHF channel.   UHF 25 (506000000 Hz) was scanned, and there was nothing that claims EPG channel 25.
