Because the announcement has said that it will be (for an unknown period of time) removed from the Freeview Satellite product.

I think mediaworks should have made sure things like this wouldn't of broken.
On the C4 side, why does it need to be unencrypted in your opinion? C4 is already available on Freeview Sat, so why do you need another, identical, highly compressed version?
