mm1352000: Does your satellite system respond to 22 kHz?
I have a Hyundai AH-3110 HD receiver that shows all channels and one can set 22kHz on or off. There's nowhere I can see how to do this with the PCTV software using the 461e stick.
An update on progress getting the 461e USB Satellite Stick to work in NZ. After a month of waiting and emails to and fro I have finally been able to get in direct touch with a PCTV developer after contacting the boss of Hauppauge USA.
In short PCTV development say: "The current TVCenter version rely on a universal LNB" and "TVCenter does not allow to edit the LOF (Local Oscillator Frequency). Unfortunately we don't have a short solution for your problem. I'll put this feature on our todo list but I can't foretelling when a solution for this issue will be available."
So don't order one of these for use in NZ unless you have a Universal LNB. It's a pity that they have not made the satellite receiver PCTV software more flexible allowing LNB frquencies of 10750 and 11300 MHz used in NZ, and those used in other countries, to be entered.
Can anyone recommend a software application that should work in NZ with the Hauppauge 461e stick? Windows Media Center does not give a picture and sound for all found stations. Perhaps there is a better alternative I could try?
