jat80:

Until Plex sorts out it's DVR problems (well for kiwis anyway's)  I'll live with out a DVR service for now.  Hopefully the issues they have with Gracenote and the EPG data gets sorted soon.

What issues? The guide quality doesn't seem to be any worse than the one I build with EPG Collector for WMC.

Also started this thread on the plex forums for kiwis using the Plex DVR beta to provide feedback if anyone is interested.

Since plex has incorporated its DVR build into the normal PMS build (for plex pass users) instead of having a separate one I updated my PMS and tried out the DVR functions for myself.

Even though it scans all the freeview channels it only has data that you can choose to record from only a few channels.  More details explained in these posts on the plex forums here:

So for now it's basically useless IMO at the moment.  Hopefully they sort it out.  At least now it's incorporated into the main PMS builds going forward which is a plus.

Can you give me an example show that is missing?

@GBwelly

Have you tried the HDhomerun channel for LiveTV support? Unsure if it works with your model of HDHR.
