You can diplex sat and UHF thru the same cable if you only have one to the location the reciever is.

The 8200s is the same as the 9200 ultraplus. You should be able to get a compatible tuner from here

There is nothing wrong with the MHEG5 EPG.  It is the official EPG for the UHF Freeview DVB-T service, and is a standard way of doing EPG used in a number of countries.  If you buy a box that does not support MHEG5, then you have a problem, but that was your choice.  It was a bad choice for a box to use in New Zealand.

I think the DVB-T service now also has a full EPG available via EIT alongside the MHEG5, but as I am happy with the MHEG5 on my MythTV box, I have never actually checked if the EIT data is the same as the MHEG5 data.  When Freeview started, the EIT data was only now/next (current and next programme on the channel).  That EIT data is still there, but the full EIT EPG seems to also be present alongside the now/next EIT EPG.  Some boxes that are not configurable enough still only see the now/next EIT data.

I have no idea if the Ultraplus boxes support using external XMLTV downloads for EPG, but if they do, that may be a way of getting the full MHEG5 EPG as it is available for download.  PM me if you want details.
