I'm mildly amazed by the number of people who watch broadcast tv still.. 

 

 

Linear TV (Freeview but not Sky) has actually experienced modest growth over the past few years.

Also it’s generally free. Generally stable, fairly good picture quality. And doesn’t require much thinking (oh what to watch now....oh damn, was that Netflix, Lightbox, tvnz on demand? I can’t remember)

Suspect 6:00pm news is still a thing. I agree though, outside of flicking on for the headlines, our family hardly ever watches anything live/broadcast/with ads.

Yeah but freeview plus is free, assuming you have a newer tv and an internet connection.

Has been interesting to see how they can offer TV series on demand straight away, and long before it's broadcast.
