Interestingly the lincrad transmitter reference given further up this thread gives the following frequencies for the Wharite Transmitter-Digital (minus the .25 offset.) 687 703 775 But the tuning parameters in MP-TVServer give 690, 706, 778, 746, 698 as the frequencies.
So you may need to do some editing of the tuning parameters to add the additional frequencies. (Note this is at your own risk, but it worked for me in the early days of DVB-T here).
In your TV-Server directory (default C:\program Files\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal TV-Server) find the TuningParameters sub folder. In that folder is a file called dvbt. Open that file using notepad. Contained in it are the settings MP uses to look for transmitters. If you scroll down til you find New Zealand - Manawatu - Wharite). You will see the freqs 690000, 706000, 778000, 746000, 698000. If you copy three of those rows and then paste them in after the 698000 line and then edit them to read 687000, 703000 and 775000 respectively in the carrier frequency = ****** part. Save and exit. That should add those freqs to the scan. Shut down and reboot your PC (not essential but resets everything). Then go back into TV-Server and give it another go with the manawatu settings.

Little: I have a hvr3000 working with dvb-t and dvb-s in MediaPortal RC2 without any special configuration or "tricks". Use this http://www.wintvcd.co.uk/tools/ScanChannelsBDA_UK.exe to check your dvb-t reception.
Hi, I was wondering if you would be able to give me a run-down on exactly what you did to get it working? are you running vista? do you still have the software you used to install? maybe you could email me what you used and i could try it with your versions?
I insalled these drivers, http://www.wintvcd.co.uk/drivers/88x_2_122_26109_WHQL.zip, as I am using Vista 32 Ultimate. Then performed a full nz scan in TvServer.
