Whats wrong with the saddle and clamp? And yes, I have left the existing cable intact, but I've checked and the core is solid. My diplexer is L4469 from DSE, I've got no info whatsoever about the splitter as it's in the roof. I've got freeview channels 1,2,6,7 and 20. They are all really clear, considering that I'm in a ghosting area and the Hills sales person said that I wouldn't even get a thing especially with my ID tv. I'm considering to make it higher as at the moment a house is blocking its path. Your sugestion is really appreciated. (P.S. I really want to get channel 3 and CTV8. The others are just extras.)

Saddle and clamp connections aren't shielded and hence allow interference from impulse (electrical) noise to compromise DVB-T signal.

If your UHF signal is so weak that analog Prime is not visible then you need an antenna installer to troubleshoot the fault (be it in a saddle/clamp termination at splitter, antenna or issue due to obstacle between you and the transmitter).
