Even if Prime is on Freeview, does anybody know if it will be broadcasting in HD?

LOL, they cannot even get their News service in 16:9, so why think they care about HD.

My point exactly. How does the Prime being on Freeview make the decision to purchase a Zinwell PVR more attractive?  The only thing I can think of is, there is some good content on Prime, many folks don't have a PVR setup that can record UHF OTA analogue broadcasts so if Prime were on Freeview the one Zinwell PVR could do all channels. For my part I record Prime over TCL cable and it's okay, just!

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

RickD: The Zinwell HD receiver (Zinwell branded one not the DSE one) is on sale for $249 this week

What a rip! Zinwells are sooo cheap and narsty. You can get a Extra Terrestrial at freeviewshop for that much!

Yeah that's what I was aiming at.  Prime is owned by SKY and is the only channel to show delayed coverage of most live sport.  It also shows the odd show I do like such as top gear.  Currently there is no way to record this on most PVR solutions apart from HTPC's.  Just a comment that it would provide a one stop shop to record all channels naturally if Prime was on freeview, though obviously this comment does not refer specifically to just the Zinwell PVR.
