Sky is definitely only available on digital as a new subscription now.
Prime is free to air in most of the county as if you can't get it via uhf they will sell you (free?!) a decoder and dish install for $100-$150 I think it was, which decodes Prime only of the sky sat feed. As I understood it, Sky gets the rights to events only if there is a free to air replay (usually delayed coverage, or same start but with ad's), which naturally they put on Prime.
I would have thought the government would intervene with some requirement that the replay had to be on the freeview platform and I think that was essentially the outcome recommendation of that broadcasting review a while back. Wouldn't expect it anytime soon though as prime does cover their free to air base unfortunately.
