Did you install something extra because windows movie maker for me gets an error when I try to import .wtv. It says this format is not supported by windows movie maker.

If you were to go to this website, and contact the author,, explain the situation and they will be able to sort it. They offer the best free software you can get for anything video and do support H234

No, I didn't install any other codecs, I do have VLC and Media Player Classic installed.  I do recall Movie Maker was not pre-installed and I had to download it to Windows 7, don't know if that made a difference...
