Brunzy:
Please qualify your statement.
I have had a 640 for over two years without any issues.
I have also installed around 200 odd 620's & 630's and have had two fail in the last few months.
Compare that to another freeview approved receiver I stocked , they have all been returned , some twice
Rojul: I bought a DishTV T1020 from Noelleeming today for $140,- , Harvey got them on sale for $ 144,- took the mailer into Noel and they sold it for $140 to me .
Not worth much more than that I think ,
Unit is not straight i had to bend it a bit before the 4 foots touch the surface .
It says MyFreeviewHDsatellite on the unit while it is a terrestrial receiver.
Cheap looking menu I think ,
But for the price/quality i am happy with it
Dunnersfella: The menu does look cheap... but is yours the current firmware? The older firmware looks somewhat worse than the latest version. Would be worth downloading the latest f/ware and doing an update just to check.
And yeah, I agree. They are a cheap box - but then, all the single tuner jobbies are. Heck, they only cost $140, so it's no wonder.
JimmyH: Given the fairly limited viewing choices on Freeview, the times I would need to record two channels at once are pretty darn limited
