Dodgy1: My major beef with the basic sat boxes out there,and the terrestrial ones for that matter, is they only allow you to record the channel that you are viewing which is why I want a twin tuner. The DishTV one looks like the one I'm going to go for unless anyone can suggest something better for the same $$$
nullpainter:You know, even though I currently can't see me caring too much about this, I just know that when I get my new and shiny single tuner box, there's going to be something that I want to record on the other channel. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Not quite true , I have a Zinwell single tuner DVB-T Box that you can record two channels ,and watch a third at the same time,as long as they are on the same mux
