mattRSK:
mattRSK: TV is rubbish. I wont be spending the money to upgrade to Freeview. Now what will I do with that unlimited internet access....

With a flip-flop as good as a politician I have gone and installed a good UHF aerial on the roof. This may or may not have something to do with me mentioning to my wife my views about keeping TV when the switch over occurs. (might also be because of procrastinating a large uni assignment)

We have had a Sony Play TV device sitting in its box for a while now, so I gave that a crack. It's nice to be able to record some shows I guess and the picture sure is clearer. It would also be the first time that I have seen TVNZ7 and I agree it would be a loss if that is removed.

better late than never.

Article is about right.

Freeview Pros: (TVNZ & Mediaworks)

-Cop shows.
-News. (Only TV3 news)
-FOUR  (comedy and cartoons like Family guy)
-TVNZ 7    which is what this is all about anyway & soon to go  :(

Cons:

-Maori TV , Shine, U  = waste of time & money.
-Most of the content on 1,2 & 3 are of no interest.
