just changed my Windows GBPVR based DVB-S PVR to Linux MYTHBUNTU 10.04 (Mythtv). Very impressive. Got more than expected from my TeVii S470 card and OptusD1/D2 setup. At last having subtitles, PIP and multichannel recording from one transponder. Though the installation was not so easy. Especially putting it to sleep and waking up automatically and from a remote control (appears to be a bug in the new kernel. had to do a rollback at the end).

I have windows media center on a PC. Does the job I need of it with a dirt cheap USB tuner which has replaced the PCI one due to slot requirements.
