kiwisat: If you use the lnb support arm as your pointer you will be fairly close.

Interesting (and clever!) idea.  Is that because the arm itself should shadow the dish as little as possible?

I believe it has to be a tad lower

Look on the right where the mounting is, that metal bit sticking out is the big that goes on the pole, and as you can see with the arm lying flat, the mount is tilted backwards slightly rather than vertical, and thats with the dish set to 20 degrees.

So yeah it needs to be about 25 degrees less than the arm, is my guess.
