ADKM: As promised I'm advising what/why my HDHomeRun didn't work. I'm not assigning IP addresses automatically (to stop DLNA devices changing IPs and loosing their profiles) and it was simply a case of adding the IP manually.

I bought one too -- works great.
But, delivery was very slow, took around 9 days. Customs had opened and examined it which slowed down delivery by quite a bit.
So, fair enough, very happy with the performance so far.
I thought dlna would handle dynamic ip's OK. You just need to refer to the dlna using the netbios name and the ip name should resolve just fine.
Maybe that is for another forum posting :)
(Maybe your router isn't the best).
