I can assure you that we sold thousands of the UP980HD with almost no return of faulty goods (0.1%) and plenty of satisfied customers. We are giving 2 years warranty for a product which will work for years . Cheers

this 980 HD machine gets a big thumbs up from me i bought 2 from the agent a while backfreitasm: Ok folks... I think both made your points already.
The main problem as I see it as that xarqi had a series of faults and gave a list to a retailer. I believe the distributor might not have seen this list. I'd say the retailer just 'archived' it in the rubbish bin after you left, so it could be plausible the distributor doesn't even know these faults exist.
Perhaps you could take this offine now?
UltraPower: By the way, the scart adaptor is a bonus (free) and is not even mentioned in the manual so please, no complains about quality of the scart adaptor if it is for free.
UltraPower: Please advise which LNBF or Disq. switch brand are you using , some brands does not support blind scan perfectly.
