It would appear that new T2200's are still being sold with the defective remote. If Dish TV are accepting that the original remote has a "fault with the IR", shouldn't they be replacing them for existing owners?
Has anyone purchased a Gen 2 remote? I understand this works better than the original and has more functionality than the generic Gen 3 remote but less than the original. I believe there is no Schedule button but is anything else missing that is essential or would it be a good replacement for the original?
