Just checked my balance via *100# and it mentions the $19 Value pack having 30 Minutes, 300 Texts and 600mb of Data, Nice to see an increase if it is in fact correct.

Not the best timing as I'm currently waiting for my number to be ported to Telecom after their new pack, Probably wouldn't have been enough to sway me anyway as unfortunately 2D doesn't have good enough reception in my particular area for me and the Telecom offer is better on the other 2 counts.

It is good however to see there is a competitive offering from 2D should I decide to return.

Site does not appear to have been updated yet.

Just ran the *100# code and checked the balance of my 19data combo. It still shows 30minutes, 300 texts, 300 data as per the offer still advertised on the website.

However it goes on to say: "Try our $19 Text Comobo: 50mins 5000txts and 500mb".

Checking the website again, the text combo is listed as 30mins 5000txts and 50mb. If the info from the code sent back is correct then the text combo is much, much better value, with more minutes and data than the data combo... Something logical going on here?

Damn... 2degrees sends out a press with an "EMBARGO 6am" but changes its systems at 3am? Unbelievably out of sync. SaltyNZ shouldn't flick the switch until 6am.

I guess it depends on whether you want more minutes, more texts, or more data. Everyone's different. :-)

HAHA I love all this competition. Privatisation in action :-)

Not going to switch though because 2degrees does not offer good enough coverage for me. But hopefully this will cause Vodafone to now increase their data on their $19 Smart plans

Yup TEXT really is better than the DATA, you get more minutes, more texts and just 100MB less in data..

Rats renewed yesterday. Might change to the text combo next month that's pretty good value right there!

Wife currently on DATA. Will switch her to TEXT, to give her 20 more minutes talk, thousands more text (which she will never use anyway), and 200MB more data per month than she was used to.

Cheers 2degrees for the extra value!
