My site smartorder.co.nz is currently hosted in New Zealand by a company that, to be fair, has abysmal customer service. I'm reaching a point where I think if I had a problem that they would take literately days to fix anything.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a host that is technically competent with a customer focus in NZ. I provide a service that people are paying for so I'm happy to pay more with the knowledge the person doing the hosting has an idea.

Yes as many around here will tell you, Hosting Direct aren't known for their customer service.

I haven't dealt with them in a few years (2-3 Years) but sitehost.co.nz were always good with knowledgeable techs.

NET24 looks like a good alternative, anyone?

What type of hosting? eg:
- Co-location of your own hardware/servers
- Dedicated server rental
- vps (virtual server) rental
- Shared web hosting
